This three hour workshop will explore two different styles of dance for the stage taught by two unique instructors. This course is for serious performers who wish to enhance their technique and stage presence for high school, college or community theatre.
Course Instructors:
Kaitlyn Chattin has been dancing for 21 years and teaching dance for seven. Kaitlyn attends Master Dance Conventions annually, staying current with latest dance styles and teaching techniques. This will be her third year choreographing Dunellen Skylight Theatre’s Summer Musical in the Park. She holds an Associates Degree in Dance and Communications from Raritan Valley Community College.
Lauren Mosko trained at NJ Center of Dance, Princeton Ballet School and First Position School of Dance, as a member of the award winning Scarlettes Competition Team. She attended workshops with dancers such as Brian Friedman, Liz Imperio, Shiela Barker and many others. As a competitive cheerleader, she expanded her repertoire to include gymnastics and stunting. Lauren studied acting at George Street Playhouse. She holds her Bachelor of Arts from Ramapo College of New Jersey and her Master of Arts from Kean University.
Course Description: This course will consist of one 3 hour session on Saturday, August 9th from 9-12pm at the Gazebo Stage in Washington Memorial Park, N. Washington Ave, Dunellen, NJ.
